this is my first time in Kaohsiung, but not in Taiwan. i've always loved the food and night markets in the country. i enjoyed going to the usual tourist spots in Kaohsiung. its very easy to go different places because of their efficient transport system. uber also works in the city. the next time i visit, i'll probably go to cijin which i wasnt able to go to. and perhaps go there aroung colder months

SImple city , friendly, culvert system not good, too many motor cycles and it is dangerous for a small family riding on one bike, small kid in front, a parent driving, with older child sitting behind.

Kaohsiung is beautiful!
Kaohsiung is beautiful! There are a number of hiking trails that are easily accessible from the city. Lots of restaurant and cafe options around. More importantly though, it's the people. Taiwanese people are very friendly, respectful, soft-spoken, and generally pleasant. Will definitely go back to Taiwan.

First time to Kaosiung, nice city very clean, Go to Chaishan for day hiking, beautiful ocean view, see lots of monkeys on the road. Go to BuoER Art Zone, surprise with it's layout, can easily wandering around for the whole day. Very impressed. Also you should visit FU Guang Temple, very grand, its amazing
The hotel's location is good, but unfortunately we experienced serious itchiness due to mites. The management offered a reimbursement for our remining time and no commercial gesture. We clearly understood that the problem was knowned, but nothing was done to address it. It's a pity and does not paint an accurate picture of other hotels in Taiwan or Kaohsiung where most hosts are very considerate and thrive to offer the best service, but it wasn't the case here unfortonately. Avoid this hotel!
Room was very good. Breakfast very satisfactory. Within walking distance to MRT. Bought transportaion pass, rode the MRT, LRT and the bus. Enjoy the rides.
Staff of the shops we went to were very courteous and helpful. Need to give a shout out for the taxi Number 8187 👍 . Took the taxi from the hotel to Kaohsiung International Airport (19/09/2023), he missed the turning to the departure hall and had to turn one round to the place (fare twd 355). He reduced the fare (twd 320).
Booked a deluxe suite and it was the best value for my money in Taiwan; great price; Huge suite (bedroom, living room, eating room, bathroom); tub in bathroom; good channels on TV; hot shower; amazing breakfast; self-use laundry machine in hotel; gave evening treats for free; friendly and amazing staff; location close to two metro stops.
The location was fantastic-- the hotel was just a block away from the famed Formosa Blvd MRT station and the Liuhe Tourist Night Market. Perfect for getting around Kaohsiung and grabbing late night food! The staff here are also super nice and helpful and take their time to explain the facilities to their guests.
Very convenient location close to Kaohsiung train station, nice small eateries nearby. Maybe the best hotel breakfast I had in Taiwan before (if you like Taiwanese style breakfast :) ). Room has everything you need even for a longer stay (small wardrobe, fridge, small desk, hot water dispender).
from the welcoming staff to the impeccably clean rooms, every aspect of my experience exceeded expectations. the central location made exploring the city a breeze, and the amenities provided added an extra layer of comfort to my stay.
would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kaohsiung!
Overall my 3rd visit and probably not last one, I really feel comfortable in this hotel whenever I need to visit Kaohsiung .
Special mention to the breakfast buffet which is again self-service, great step forward! Being served by staff was not that exciting...
The room is very spacey. The swimming pool and sauna is excellent and the staffs are well trained with warm greeting . We had lunch at the hotel Michelin 1 star restaurant Ukai-tei and enjoyed a lot. Definitely will stay again when visit Kaohsiung next time.
Hotel very near to Kaohsiung train station , the room is big, i like the Cozy corner they facilitate at the dining area (you can have drinks & biscuit (Breakfast till 9pm) while waiting for your free laundry (Only dryer charged NT$20 for 30 mins)
Very affordable place in Kaohsiung, especially if your plan is to just sleep there and spend all day outside. It was also not noisy at all compare to other hotels we stayed in Taiwan, but maybe we didn't have any neighbours, I don't know.
A perfectly located hotel in the heart of Cijin Island, thanks to which it is very close to the nearby market, great seafood restaurants, the beach and the ferry to Kaohsiung Pier. The room was clean and comfortable.
The service is nice, also the facility and room are clean. The room is same as the picture on the hotel’s website. The most impressive one is the sauna! Better than any hotels that I’ve stay in Taiwan.
The location is good, very near train station ( City Council ) juat 1 station from Formosa Boulevard. Room has space enough for comfortable, comfy bed & pillow. Not crowded, only 4 rooms per floor.
Functional hotel in a very convenient location, near the stop of the Kaohsiung tram (light rail)) and Pier #2. No service claims. Nice modern design, nice view from the window.
Location of hotel is good. It closes to the subway station. Price is reasonable. The room is comfortable for staying.
The staffs are friendly and helpful.
